Dr. Cirecie West-Olatunji, CEO of CRESTSprogram, interviewed Mr. Bwalya Mubanga (of Global Health Action) to acquire his perspectives on working with the CRESTSprogram team. Mr. Mubanga serves as GHA’s Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning Advisor and has extensive experience operating in various roles within USAID-funded projects. GENDER EQUITY & GENDER BASED VIOLENCE: PART I: GENDER BASED VIOLENCE AMIDST COVID-19  Gender Based Violence is on the increase, countries and communities are challenged amidst COVID-19. Listen to this discussion with Dr. Leso Munala, Assistant Professor of Public Health at St. Catherine University, whose current research focuses on gender based violence in East Africa. Dr. Munala sheds some light on GBV and current innovations addressing the challenges and needs. In addition, listen to some recommendations for communities to tackle this issue amidst COVID-19.
